When we start talking to women about Nefera, they ask us a lot of questions. It’s natural (and healthy) to be inquisitive when introduced to a new product – so we started to compile a list of our frequently asked questions, ensuring that Dr Kazem himself answered. Here we share a few of our favourites in a quickfire Q&A with Nefera’s founder and creator.
What was the inspiration behind Nefera?
I was inspired to create Nefera after working as a plastic surgeon for so many years. As it is my profession, my vocation and my interest, I became passionate about making better skin available to all in an accessible way, just as I am dedicated to sourcing treatments for my clinics. I wanted to create a skincare range that offered tangible, clear results – a powerful formula that could be of benefit to all skin types and people at different stages of their lives. The name Nefera is inspired by Egyptian Queen Nefertiti, who was renowned for her stunning natural beauty.
What’s so special about Nefera?
Nefera is special because it is unique. I spent years researching and developing the products, selecting Ennapeptide M as the principle ingredient. This peptide is exclusive to Nefera products, derived from the Black Pollachin fish found in the North Sea. Its regenerative properties are remarkable – and studies clearly show that it has this incredible ability to help skin to build new cells and improve collagen stores. The result is youthful, smoother and stronger skin. Nefera is also unique (and therefore special) because every facet of its presentation and packaging has been carefully thought out. For example, the delivery of the peptides to the deepest layers of skin via cutting-edge nanotechnology. The beautiful ergonomic packaging and airtight pens that dispense only as much as you need each time to avoid wastage. I put everything into creating this premium product with perfection and meticulous attention to detail using my knowledge and expertise.
Is Nefera suitable for sensitive skin?
Absolutely, yes. The Nefera formula only contains natural ingredients, so it’s designed to be gentle on the skin whilst yielding significant results. The products can also be used around the eyes for this reason.
Can I use Nefera in conjunction with other skin treatments?
Yes. We don’t yet have a range of cleansing products, so Nefera crèmes and serums must be used alongside different brands. I recommend using proven products formulated with gentle, natural ingredients that don’t strip the skin.
How soon will I see results?
You should see results within 3-4 weeks of using Nefera products morning and night, depending on your personal situation and skin concerns. Skin’s natural cycle renews every 28 days or so (influenced by diet, age and health), so after a month the condition and appearance of your skin will have improved as a result of Nefera’s fortifying peptide formula.
